I just heard from Albert Branscombe that Frank Borrmann, owner of Borrmann's Garage in Bluevale Ontario Canada has passed away.
Borrmann's Garage has been servicing GMC motorhomes for many years and was the goto guy for service in Ontario.

Very sad news indeed, he was only 59.
Frank was a very kind and talented guy. He took over the GMC frame replacement business when Dan Stuckey retired from doing it.

Although I am not in Southern Ontario very often any more, I did meet him several times. The last time I spent the day watching him and Dick Paterson swap a 455 on a GMC. I was late arriving and at 10 AM central time when I walked in I was happy to see the engine was still in the coach. Good I thought, I did not miss much. I asked where the new engine was and the two of them pointed at the coach. They had the old one out and the new one in place before 10 AM Central time. I spent the rest of the day supervising (watching their work). It was fully installed and fired up by late afternoon. So I sat around with both of them, had a great evening dinner, and talking, before driving back home.
He will really be missed.
He was a very nice person.
