Due to my recent charging issue and unnecessary(!) removal of the alternator, I replaced the belt when I reassembled things. The belt I had in my spares was about 1/2" too long, but used it temporarily just so I could test the system.
After picking up the correct (well, the same as what was fitted) belt I decided to re-visit the GMCmotorhome.info site to see if the belt I was going to refit matched any in the chart.
I'd purchased a Gates 7570, same as the belt I was replacing.
The http://www.bdub.net/GMCMotorhome.info/BELTS.html chart shows the Gates alternator belt as a 7507, which as far as I can see must be typo.
I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a 7507.

Thanks Bruce - will pick up those when I get a chance. Unfortunately don't have those stores out west, at least not on the island (yet)
cheers

I know of at least 3 stores in my town of 30,000 that would have them. You should be able to easily find them around you. . and you

The point of my post was to alert people that there is a typo on the GMCmotorhome website ...which BTW is also carried forward to Bruce's .pdf - just hoped someone would edit and correct the information.

Larry,
I believe the charts were originally made by Gene Fisher and I believe now Billy Massey maybe has control of his website.
Maybe a message to Billy to see if he does have control and can change it.
If he does I can redo my document.
