We travelled up from Texas to attend Bob Drewes' auction. There were clouds and a couple rain drops but all in all the weather was nice for a successful auction.

We did bid on a couple things and are proud to announce that we have the privilege on being the new owner's of Bob & Marlys Drewes' GMC motorhome.

With many hugs (and tears of mine) from Midwest Classic members, a big hug was received from Marlys because the coach will remain in the GMC family.

We are excited to hit the road and return to Texas.

Congrats again,

being fairly close, and had time, my wife and I also attended that auction. Even though we did not come back with what we had hoped we traveled down to buy, we came back with some good deals and parts we can use. and some renewed acquaintances within the GMC family.

From an outsider, not knowing others really well, one thing I took away from the day, that with Kim and Keith being the new owners of the coach, I could see how keeping that coach in the "GMC family" really put Marlys at peace with the difficulties of that whole day/situation. My wife either talked to her earlier, or others, and mentioned she was pretty distraught about the possibility the coach ending up with someone that would not appreciate that coach.

The other thing I took away from the day, is what a good group of people that are the "gmc family". I could tell there had been alot of support for Marlys. Lots of people traveled at quite an expense and time to be there last week.

Congrats, Keith and Kim. So glad you got the coach. Hope the auction was
successful and freeing for Marlys.

Kim,

Congratulations on getting Bob's coach. I remember it from the previous owner, in fact I think he had your job at one time.

Actually, Elam Fayard had my job. He was President from 1996-1977 but he died in office. Tom Whitton has another GMC that Elam rebuilt the interior in.
