Thanks, according to the link it is 2-4 psi, the one I found is 4-6 psi, would the needle in the onan carb handle the extra pressure ?

That Elektrisk drivstoffpumpe looks like a rotary pump.
I think the Onan pump is vibrating pump, similar to what they put on MGs in the 1960s.
It makes a ticking sound as it pumps.

Espen,
I was having problems with my Onan the summer before last and came to the conclusion that it was the fuel pump. I had taken it apart
earlier to check it and found it was OK. When I took it apart the second time I discovered I had reassembled it incorrectly! Ref:
Parts Book 78Z / Figure 28-044E / Page 28-51. For some inexplicable reason I had swapped the position of Key 6 & 7. The gasket
(o-ring) was on "top" of the washer and therefore did not provide a seal as it was up against Key 5 - Retainer! What a dope, eh? At
any rate I replaced the gasket (o-ring), reassembled the pump properly and it worked fine.
However, since I had already purchased the pump below:
http://www.silver-seal.com/product/FEP60SV/Facet-Solid-State-Fuel-Pump-275-4-PSI-36-GPH136-LPH.html
I decided to install it to be on the safe side. I got new fittings and installed them in the pump. Even though it was a brand new
pump I decided to test it before installation. I set the pump case on the negative post of a 12vdc battery and touched the lead to
the positive post. I could feel the electromagnet energize but the piston did not shuttle. What the hell? I disassembled the pump
and found the piston was rusted into its bore. I got a block of wood and slammed the piston end down several times which caused the
piston to pop out enough for me to get a grip on it with a pair of pliers. I pulled it out, cleaned the rust off the piston, the
corrosion in the bore (brass), and reassembled it CORRECTLY! ;-)
The Onan ran just fine all last summer. I also removed the solenoid valve that is upstream of the fuel pump and installed a rebuild
kit in the carb.
You could try and call the company in Norway that is selling the higher pressure pump and see if he has the lower pressure model.

Scroll down, pump # 2
I think the original pump was made faucet and they where used in almost anything, even airplanes, I guess I have to open up the old
one I got on the shelf to see if there is some sort of regulator inside it.

I have one OEM on my airplane. It is used as a boost pump.

Great link !
I suspect that it might just be the spring in the pictures the regulate the pressure, if so it would be an easy swap from the old to a new pump, I guess I have to buy one and check it out.
