Missed the forum the last days

Had a airleak in the pump/valves area for a while and decided to do something about that
Thought it was the pressureswitch that was definitly not oem and got a viair one That was not the problem It is very difficult the find the leak with all these connections in one tight place
Now it is either a speciffik valve or the threaded connection to this valve
I ll go in town and buy some threadseal and hope it is that

Have been chasing a waterleak for months in the bedroom Found it now: Olga had a slight accident at some time, hence the fiberglassrepair on the left rearcorner and a slight dent on the far rear rubline
No the leak is through the H profile that connects the fiberglas bottom with the alu topside The accident broke the glue and the water running down the side runs through the H
'Hope the glue I added will hold

As to engine
I booked the workshop for next weekend where we have a 3 day weekend, but there are a few small problems
Dick Paterson has been very helpsome, but he a small accident that put him back a day Then I got a mail from him that he was rejected at the forwarder becource he used the wrong pallet: All wood tp europe has to be treated and stamped accordingly ! Bummer That means a other 150 Miles for him and for it means getting very close to my deadline I am very exited to get a ETA from the forwarder

I'll put som photos of the engine on the photoside Does not look like much The beauty is inside

Try using some gas leak detector. Coat the connections with it. It will make large bubbles. Also the original GMC lines used plastic connectors on them. I had a difficult time finding my leaks. I finally just replaced the connectors with brass connectors. All of my leaks disappeared.

At the time I replaced mine they were $1.50 to $2.00 each. Today they are probably $3.00 each. Around here they are available at some good auto parts stores because they are used on truck air brakes. They are also used in some plumbing situations and are available at home improvement stores.

Gas Leak Detector = bubble juice from the toy section of Wal-Mart.. or any toy store. Works about as well as the commercial stuff for less loot.
