Hi All - I 'found' this distributor in my parts stuff and wondered if I can use it on our 1974 455 motor. I have had a couple of responses indicating that it can be used. All input is welcome.

They way I understand what you have is a HEI distributor which was used on used on 1976 and later GMC's. It is a good upgrade to your 1974 coach. The only problem is it is slightly larger and you will also need to get a lower half, or whole, air cleaner to have enough room for the distributor.
