On the one hand, I get to replace my 2.5 year old tires for the cost of driving the GMC to a competent shop to have them replaced.
On the other hand, I need to find a place that is smart enough to jack up a GMC without damaging it.
I am 50 miles Northwest of Birmingham AL. Can anyone offer suggestions for a shop that won't bend something?

Same here. I figured if they damaged the frame or blew a windshield they might pay for it eventually, but it would be far more trouble than it was worth.

My response (in recent years) has been that I understand that it may seem I am paranoid.
But please recognize, I am OLD now and I have always been paranoid.

Matt,
An old pilot friend of mine often uses the following expression.
There are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but
There few old-bold pilots.
My friend is 79 years old and still flies his Boeing Stearmann.
It pays to be a little paranoid at times!

Friends have frequently remarked that I seem paranoid. Particularly about brakes and lifejackets.
My response (in recent years) has been that I understand that it may seem I am paranoid.
But please recognize, I am OLD now and I have always been paranoid.
