Most folks, feel free to skip this post as it's more about due credit
within the community rather than intriguing GMC info.

A big public thank you to an off-lister, Dave Marchiando.

Dave Marchiando of Sheridan, IL did a huge amount of mechanical and safety
work to our GMC while patiently explaining why things were revamped or
changed and more importantly why others weren't.

I'm still finding little details that he masterfully refurbished but didn't
feel the need to mention or bill.

From cleaning up wire paths to making sure that the pinched 2ga wire didn't
spark flames, 80 mm front calipers, new master cylinder, new brake lines,
removing a bird nest from just inside the blower motor housing, adding
trans cooler, upgrading the radiator fan, digipanel, evaluation of all
rubber parts, installing Ragusa shelves, diagnosing suspension leaks,
wiring the new front-located battery bank with proper fuses, etc, etc. Good
stuff all.

That's not the half of his impact on our current nomadic life, but I just
wanted to give credit where due.

Ken Henderson, that new-owner mentor program works well...my many thanks.

Dave is one of the many GMCers who know and share an enormous amount of
knowledge and skill. It's little known that Dave has replaced several
frames, as an example of his abilities. Doesn't say much and doesn't post
to GMCNet, so only a relative few of us know him.
