We're having a great time in Tampa at Lazy Days. Arrived last Friday after
an uneverntful 354 miles from home. Spent the weekend visiting with our
Sunshine Statesmen friends who wrapped up that rally on Sunday. Yesterday
they were replaced by our Dixielanders.

Lazy Days has really outdone themselves with the meals. Tonight we had all
we could eat of delicious, tender prime rib with all the fixin's.

Today Ron Tase, whom some of you probably remember for his beautiful 31'
stretch which he completed in ~2000 -- just in time for us to meet them,
for the first time, in Juneau, AK. Since they've long since moved on to an
SOB (a very unique one, by the way), he offered me his unused Tom Warner
front wheel bearing puller.

For those who don't know, Tom was an active GMCer back 8-10 years ago.
Very knowledgeable and a productive engineer, he could also be very
abrasive (and abusive) -- he got banned from this site. Eventually he sold
his GMC and moved to Bluebird. But during his "GMC Life", he designed and
produced a very satisfactory wheel bearing puller which many of us bought
and used. It's very similar to that illustrated in the GMC manuals, but
uses a high quality OTC general purpose puller as the forcing tool.

The instructions for use of that tool should be here:
http://www.bdub.net/FrontWheelBearingR.eplacementProceduresR1.pdf<http://www.bdub.net/FrontWheelBearingReplacementProceduresR1.pdf>

If you're interested in purchasing that tool, at a very reasonable price,
contact Ron at Three 21 Five fourteen zero 7 ten.
