Does anyone know how to get the aux. furnace blower behind the range out
without removing the range?
Or even how to disconnect the wires from it?
Mine is apparently either no longer anchored down or it's unbalanced, and
it makes an awful racket when running.

Thanks,

RonC

You don't have to remove the range but you will have to slide it forward perhaps 4 inches to reach the fan. There is a small plug in the wire near the fan. Just up;lug it.
You can just leave the fan in place.

Thanks, Emery.

I didn't really want to disconnect the propane and remove the stove.

I see yours is a '78.
If the furnace is under the sink. you can see where the plug in is that
connects to it.
If you have a wiring diagram find the wire that says it is going to the
'aux fan' and cut that (leave an inch above the connector in two in case
you want to reconnect in the future).
If you don't have a wiring diagram, let me know and I'll go out to mine and
see what colour it is and get back to you.

In my 75 palm beach, It was pretty easy disconnecting the propane and moving the range out. And reinstalling. Only a 15 minute project.

But the plug could possibly be had if you have long arms from the cabnet that my converter, and 110volt panel are in. The connector was only a coule inches from the wall. I could see it with a mirror, But my arms are short.

Mine i believe was orange and black.

On mine, original Sol-Aire that is under the sink, I just cut the wire coming out of the furnace. I have a 75 so I don't know it the color is the same. Mine was white and it was marked Aux. I just cut it and put an inline spade connector on it in case I wanted to hook it up again.

Emery, Mike, Jon, Daryn and everyone else who answered, Thank you.
Got that hummer disconnected. Broke the oven door handle and peeled a
little skin off my arm, but the booster fan is now mute and
non-functioning. Boy that baby made a lot of noise when the furnace came
on. Woke our house guest up and he almost bumped his head on the
ceiling.

Thanks, again
