We have been in a deep freeze and wind so builder has been working on some inside jobs.
We got a nice day Friday so they got some more sheeting up.

Yesterday temps went up 6+ so we had a big thaw. We need some eves troughing work done on the new house too!

Is that two layers of sheathing on the roof?
Funny thing, Eaves troughs become gutters out here.

Harry,
1/2" exterior plywood sheeting, single layer. We only get snow measured in inches at a time.. not feet... for the most part Rolling Eyes

Don..
I'm getting itchy myself. When the weather gets miserable, the builder has a number of small inside jobs he goes to work on. So the winter and the holiday season has slowed progress a tad.

Need to get the other house sold... this carrying two homes gets $$

Bruce,

I spent most of yesterday dealing with that same thaw you had.
It tried real hard to flood out where we keep the outdoor cats during the night; on our closed in back porch.

I have been enjoying your project and the updates.
I'm glad that they were able to get some work done.

BTW - We can relate to your last statement in this post. Been there doing that 3 plus years now and counting. Rolling Eyes

Marie and I are blessed to have had a 2nd chance to buy our farm.
Still hoping and more importantly praying to be able to build a garage.
Our 1970 Ultravan #520 has an Olds Toronado 455 in back.
