I can vouch for the effectiveness of this product. It is sold in 1 gallon purple jugs. Cut it with water per instructions on the back.

It will remove paint! I have used it as detergent to clean shop rags, save jeans and work shirts. Use it to clean parts and oil drips on concrete.

Wear eye protection and rubber gloves (for real). Hydroxide is an ingredient. (Hydroxide and grease make soap; there I have flaunted my education)

BOGO at Advance Automotive.

I consider it a great product versus mineral spirits or other hydrocarbon degreasers.

I've used this stuff for years. Make sure you NEVER use it on polished aluminum. I took the shine right off a set of valve covers on a Buick Century station wagon one time with Super Clean. Up to that time it had a nicely detailed 3.8 V6 in it. Now days, I usually use the Super Clean for the driveway or parts I plan on painting, and Simple Green for most everything else.
