My Onan drawer slides are worn out. Generator is sagging and despite new cushions, it is bottoming out on the power drawer housing. Any one have a spec on the drawer slides? Cinnabar has none available used currently and when available wants $100 each for each for a used one. The generator is estimated to weigh 479 lbs and replacement slides would have to be rated for a combined 500 lbs. The slides are about 3" tall and extend for a total of 44 inches from the back of the large part of the slide to the narrow slid out part end. I am finding several drawer triple slides that meet those specs on line but wondering if anyone has ordered them and done this job for further advice?

With all the 6ks being kicked to the curb for solar/battery/ newer gens setups I would think good slides could be had. Maybe try the 2 Facebook groups and the marketplace as I see them pretty often. Or call Applied, Sirum or Cinnabar etc. . Bets are they have what you need. Or spend some time at McMaster’s site and I bet they have lots of that type item.

I have the same issue with my Onan. I did a quick search on McMaster-Carr and the only thing I could find that goes to 48" has a weight rating of 400 lbs. That's short of the 500 lbs you way is needed.
https://www.mcmaster.com/products/drawer-slides/mounting-location~side/closed-length~48/
One that goes 40" has a rating of 440 lbs per pair.

However, forget those as the price of the 40" slides is $395.12 and the 48" is $547.23! To much for my budget!

I checked 3 AI chatbots and was lead to Amazon where there are a number of "Drawer Slide, Full Extension, 44 in, Heavy Duty, 500 lb" for around a $100/pair. No idea if they would fit.

I was talking to Bob Stone this morning and he suggested swapping the slides side to side. He also said to put on dry lube like for a garage door track after you clean them up.

Thanks Rgogan,
I've purchased the kit and am doing the mod this summer. This is a timely bit of advice.

I just took 4 of these drawer slides apart. There is a 1/4" steel dowel pin that holds the rubber bump stop in place. Find the tapered end of the dowel pin and drive it out. Then the entire drawer slide disassembles and can be rebuilt with new ball bearings and fresh grease.
