I just bought my third GMC. It was acquired through an estate liquidation in Seattle. Was wondering if anyone is familiar with this coach or of mechanical history through club affiliation, rallies etc. Fortunately it came with a diary of sorts in a binder with receipts with mileage etc. It's a 1976 26 foot with a drivers side bath and kitchen. 455, carbureted with electric fuel pump, Springfield ignition. Seems to be stock final drive gearing. The rig has Alcoa Hotshot wheels (7), 6 wheel disc brakes with micro lock electronic line lock (totally functional) for parking brake. Headers into mandrel bent stainless exhaust through dual mufflers, Zip Dee awnings, Birch screen door, through bumper hitch, frosted entry door glass (not necessarily a feature but an identifier of sorts). The kitchen has been remodeled with a formed solid integrated backsplash counter top with a two burner electric range and a convection microwave. Windows are treated with hollow cell string less blinds in contoured blind boxes. The cabinets look to be original and in excellent condition. The headliner has been updated with a hull type liner material commonly used in GMCs for headliner. Two roof ac units as well as dash AC. Still has the engine heated hot water heater. I still need to go through ac units and the rest of the systems to verify they all work. The drivers windshield has a crack but neither are fogged, screens on original two piece windows, Original paint which is decent. Four new tires (rear) fronts are ancient.

I will be going through this rig in the coming month and then I plan on selling it. The rig had been sitting for several years but meticulously cared for and stored properly. After verifying oil pressure , It started and drove willingly upon pickup but has a fuel leak which probably means I'm dropping the tanks and doing hoses at the minimum. If there is any interest ping me at sgltrac@gmail.com. I figured I would try to sell through the GMC community prior to offering on CL etc
