I'm having problems finding a 11mm x 62" belt locally (11AV1590), things appear to be NLA or backordered.
Does a 63" belt work? It might have better availability and I see that a Goodyear 15634 is listed at GMCMI

All the NAPA belts seem to be 10mm, which I hear don't work as well. AC belt they offer came to $36 as well, but wasn't in stock.

Grainger.ca is an option up here, but AC belt is backordered for a month.

Do 1/2" belts work as well and as long?

Yes, I have all 1/2" belts on my coach now. Keep in mind that 1/2" belts are measured by OUTSIDE length and our belts are measured by the inside length. I usually have to add 2" to a 1/2" belt to have them the correct length. So a 64" belt 7/16" belt would equal a 66" belt 1/2" wide.

Burl,
Did you see my response to your belt question over at gmcmotorhome.org forum? I've been running 1/2" implement belts for 2 years now with no issues after being unsuccessful finding proper belts here in Canada.

I posted a scan of the belt part numbers I used from TSC (now Peavey) stores.

Thanks Bruce, I did get that.
On your scan it says you're using a 62" for the AC, so you didn't add the 2" as Ken suggests?
I'll try a couple of auto shops today, but might end up at Peavey like you.

I have a new Goodyear Gatorback on the alternator that fits ok, can't even remember where I got it now.

I may have mis-stated the 2" difference in the my previous posting. Take a look at the .pdf that Bruce posted and you will see the two numbering schemes and the 2" difference right on the packages. Most brands do not show both numbers on their packages.

Thanks Bruce

Here is the link to the .pdf

I found some belts and also realized why I couldn't find any Gatorbacks, they're now Continental branded. Goodyear Engineered Products got sold off and then sold again to Continental, they have phased out and rebranded the belts as Continental.

So, I have one of each 11AV1170 (15466) and a 11AV1597 (15634), I'll see how they fit when I get a chance.

Got them at Quinte Truck and Trailer, it's a chain across Eastern Ontario, owned by the same people who own NAPA in the area. Cheaper than NAPA by quite a bit and they could get the right belts, $24 and $17 each, plus tax.

They're also looking for a piston ring for my Hadley compressor.

Quick update.
The Continental belts came in and I test fit them. Either they are measured slightly longer than the Gatorbacks they replace, or the Gmcmi.net site has to be updated as they are longer than the NLA Gatorback.

The Conti 15466 (11AV1170) is too long for the PS pump, a 15450 (11AV1130) fits nicely, if a little snug.

The Conti 15634 on the AC works, but could be an inch shorter, so use the 15620.
