Guys,

I'm wiring up my in-tank fuel pumps I got from Applied. The leads on the pump are not long enough to reach the base of the fuel sender so I have to extend the leads. At first I was going to use the wire I have but the coating is PVC which I believe will not tolerate being submerged in fuel. I do have some PTFE wire, left over from an aircraft wiring mod, but I think it is only 22 gauge. Searching the innerweb I see all kinds of opinions on what kind of wire to use, some say PVC is fine others say it is not. I have read PVC is fuel resistant but not necessarily made for submersion.

Looking for some opinions/advice on what to do for the in-tank wiring.

Jon
