My coach (76 Glenbrook) has the double pull down accordian type shades, not sure what the correct name is. Right now, we are currently on our annual two month trip to southern Cal, defeating the cold crappy weather of our Washington state abode. Anyway, to cut to the chase, this year is a drought in Cal., and quite warm. If we could open the door, that would be really nice to let in some cooler air. However, the flies swarm in as soon as we open the door, and the dog scampers out. I can catch the dog, but those darned flies...
I've contacted Ragusa (have several of their quality products and love them all), and I could stop by their facility to pick up a screen door, except that the Ragusa screen door fits up about 1" from the coach door when it is closed. That would mean the current pull down shade on the door would have to go, as it sticks out about 2"-3", and it will need to be replaced with something else. The question then is: What do people with a screen door use as a shade / block on the door's window?
Thanks in advance for any ideas presented...
PS, Sorry if this has been hashed before, I didn't find it with a search.

We have (PO installed) mini blinds on our coach windows. The one on the door window was installed on the inside face of the door. When I installed a Ragussa screen door, I re-mounted the blinds inside the window opening. They are fastened to the glass at the top, with double stick mounting tape. The strings are mounted to the bottom of the frame. This puts the blinds inside the window frame and provides clearance for the screen door.

Thanks for the links and ideas. I'll mull it over a bit, won't be passing by Ragusa until the 14th, so time to decide. I really like the idea of a hinged door that is sort of out of the way all the time (by opening with the door). I've had those on other rigs and found no fault with them. Leaning toward Carl's idea of remounting the pull down shades inside the door window. Probably can't manage that on the road but sounds easy when back at home.
No problem on bad links, they seem to come and go... It's very hard to keep a web site up to date!!!

I used super magnets from K&J Magnetics. Attached to door frame. Cut a form fitting curtin, matching the interior curtins. Attached metal to fabric.
Slap up and done with it. Roll up and store anywhere. No protrusion into coach.
