I think that if we had an option of cost is no object, wouldn't a front drive electric motor be great. Think of all the batteries that could be mounted between the frame rails, and the maximum torque at zero rpm!

We just have to find a large enough electric motor and whole bunch of lithium ion batteries!

Just dreaming out loud!

I think a BBC at 502 CID, tuned for max torque at 2200-2500 rpm would be the ticket.

Part are easy to get. Tons of them and, when compared to a 455 cid Olds, not THAT expensive.

Good point. That's why I'm sticking with my 455.
