Excerpts from GMC Forty Niners Chapter By-Laws

"A member who disposes of his GMC motorhome may retain his membership for 12 months from the date of the disposition by paying the required dues. During this 12 month period, the member may reacquire a GMC motorhome and retain membership status or acquire a non-GMC motorhome and apply for Associate status. Associate members shall enjoy all of the club privileges. Years of membership and past contributions to the Club shall be the criteria considered. Approval of the Associate status shall require a 2/3 affirmative vote of the membership at the Business Meeting immediately following receipt of the application by the Membership Chairman."

"Any former Forty Niner member without a motorhome shall be allowed to attend any rally as a guest."

Many of the best Rally's are put on by the Associate members!

Jack Kincaid, Past Pres. 2012

Interesting viewpoint.

For some reason, a lot of folks think that if/when you sell your GMC that
your experience and interest also goes down the road.

Clubs need leaders and members. The need new ones if the legacy is to
continue. Being somewhat narrow minded means that there is limited vision.
Limited vision leads to limited interest. Next comes demise.

There are purists and there are others.
